Dr Ben Radford is a spatial modeling and ecological research scientist with the Australian Institute of Marine Science where he works in the western Australian Seascape Health and Resilience Team. His research covers broad aspects of spatial data science, spatial ecology and biogeography with specific focuses on marine remote sensing, coastal habitat mapping, species distribution modelling, ecosystem dynamics and process models. This work has been conducted throughout Australia (including internationally) with research, government, and industry collaborators. This work has been extended more recently by combining environmental data with human use and climate projection information to produce research that informs spatial decision support and planning in marine and coastal environments.
